Collectors refer to devices that combine water flow collection. A common form of water flow collection is to merge several pipes into one pipe, so that all flows will converge in one pipe. Collectors are often used in drainage systems where they are designed to collect and divert rainwater or other water flow to prevent flooding, etc.
